Praised for his “cool control and warmth of tone” (Washington Post), sopranist Elijah McCormack is a versatile artist performing throughout North America and abroad. Recognized particularly for his solo work in early music, he has sung roles with Haymarket Opera and Opera Lafayette, and has performed as a soloist with Washington Bach Consort, American Bach Soloists, Ars Lyrica Houston, Dallas Bach Society, and others. As a choral artist, he performs regularly with GRAMMY award-winning and nominated organizations such as Conspirare, Santa Fe Desert Chorale, The Crossing, and Seraphic Fire, as well as Ensemble Altera and Aeternum Choir.
